Last month, independent estate agencies across Devon – View Property in Tavistock, Falcon in Plymouth, Stevens in Okehampton, Freeborns in Dartmouth, Turners in Ilfracombe, Harrison Lavers & Potbury in Sidmouth, Roger Hemming in Honiton, all four branches of Rendells, the three branches of Collyers, The Woods Group’s seven offices, both branches of Whitton & Laing, and Cooksleys and Robert Williams in Exeter – launched a Spring Prize Draw with monthly prizes and two lucky homeowners set to become the ‘grand’ winners of £1,000 each to spend at their local garden centre.

With every property valuation by a participating agent before 30^th June, for either sales or property management purposes, comes an entry into the draw.

Well, the first of the monthly prizes have been announced, and the Totnes branch of Rendells has a winner!

Rendells valued an attached four-bedroom home in a popular residential area of Totnes for Mr Rowse just a week before the first of the monthly draws took place at the Experts in Property headquarters in Exeter. Mr Rowse was entered into the draw and was chosen at random as one of the first winners of £100 to spend in his local garden centre.

Mr Rowse was presented with his prize – a £100 voucher for The Potting Shed in Totnes – last week, and he is very much looking forward to spending it on new bedding plants. Mr Rowse said: “We will be purchasing more and are pleased to be spending money in local business.”

Mr Rowse has decided not to sell his home at present. The property has been remodelled and extended, creating an enviable internal finish with an open plan kitchen/dining space and a large hall leading through to the sitting room, all beautifully presented to a high specification.
