Second £2,022 winner of 2022 announced

Second £2,022 winner of 2022 announced

During September, homeowners across the Southwest were awarded prizes totalling £3,022 by the Experts in Property and its local estate agency offices.

There are almost 70 members of the network throughout Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset and Bristol, all independent, trusted and highly respected estate agencies in their areas. In the network’s latest campaign, which ran from 1st May to 31st August, all homeowners who invited their local member agency for a property valuation were entered into the draw. All entries went into a ‘hat’ and the winners were randomly selected by Jo Marshall, the Expert in Property’s office manager on 31 st August. The winners have now been informed and presented with their prizes.

The 4th prize, of £250, has been awarded to Ms Alward, who had her home in Nailsea valued by Hensons in the town on the very first day of the campaign.

A couple from Tregadillet, Launceston won the third prize. Mr & Mrs Pike received £250 and were entered into the draw by View Property, the Launceston agency which valued their four-bedroom detached home in the town in June.

The 2nd prize winning entry was also submitted by the team at View Property after they valued Mr Townsend’s Launceston property. Mr Townsend was thrilled to receive his prize of £500.

And last week, Julie Copsey, sales manager at the Kingsteignton branch of Woods Estate Agents & Auctioneers, along with Julie Hurley and Rachel Green, her sales team, presented the grand prize of £2,022 to Marilyn Avery. Marilyn requested the valuation of a semi-detached two-bedroom bungalow in Kingsteignton on behalf of her mother, Mrs Nadine Ford. The bungalow, which sits in a popular location and comes with two reception rooms, a garage, driveway and lovely gardens, was on the market with Woods at £320,000 and has a sale agreed.

Mrs Ford was absolutely delighted to hand the prize money over to her daughter because of everything Marilyn has done for her.

Julie called Marilyn to let her know that she was a winner. Julie said: “Marilyn was so emotional on the phone. She asked me to repeat the news twice because she just couldn’t believe it. She said she has never won anything in her life, and it has made her year! I couldn’t have been happier to hand her the Grand Prize cheque for £2,022.”

Properties for sale with the Experts in Property agencies get more marketing exposure than they do with any other agency, and the network’s HQ provides them with business support services and heaps of training to ensure their agencies are the best in their field.
